About

The Austrian Chapter of the AOAA was founded in 1996 with the aim to announce and to spread the philosophy of the AO in Austria primarily between young Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeons. Our Association sees itself as a discussion forum including specific clinical problems and we support and organize quality meetings, working groups, we spread information and exchange point of views. The main emphasis of the work of our Association is the (further) education of our members with information, the preparation and cooperation of AO courses.

The AOAA Austria counts 57 members (February 2010).
