3Zygoma reduction methods

Performed reduction by using an elevator

The first step is to obtain the proper 3-D reduction of the zygoma using an elevator, hook, screw, or Carroll-Girard type device, or digital pressure can be used to mobilize the zygoma into its proper position.

The repositioning can be done through a transoral (Keen) incision, or directly through a coronal approach.
