Supporting indications

  • Medullary canal of the ulna too narrow for adequate intramedullary nail diameter
  • Bowing with osteotomy

  • Cast-free rehabilitation

  • Pin-track infection
  • Neurovascular injury
  • Pin-site scars
  • General anesthesia required
  • Demanding technique
  • Uncomfortable
  • Image intensifier or arthrotomy necessary for radiocapitellar joint visualization
