Anatomical structures

This procedure describes the stab incision for percutaneous procedures.

Dorsal to the scaphoid

This approach is used for proximal pole fractures, scaphoid fractures and SL ligament injuries.

Combined to perilunate

This approach is sometimes indicated for perilunar injuries.

Palmar to the scaphoid

This approach is indicated for irreducible scaphoid fractures and for comminuted fractures.
