There is no preparation associated with the therapy you selected. However, the list below shows all available preparations.

Prone position

The Kocher-Langenbeck approach is commonly performed with the patient in the prone position (the alternative is the lateral position).

Lateral position

Place the patient in a lateral decubitus position with the injured side up on either a radiolucent or on a fracture table which allows limb mobility.

Supine position

The ilioinguinal and the modified Stoppa approaches are performed with the patient in supine position.
