Comprised mainly of the petrous portion of the temporal bone and divided into right and left lateral skull base.

Observation

Further indications

  • No evidence of an intracranial mass lesion (bleeding), CSF leak (CSF rhinorrhea), or increase in intracranial pressure
  • Stable neurological status (high Glasgow coma scale GSC)

  • Mass lesions (epidural, subdural or intracerebral hematoma)
